Yesterday during Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) Phil Schiller, and Scott Forstall announced the new iPhone 3.0 software release. The iPhone software is set to be released on June 17th 2009. Throughout the conference both Phil and Scott presented some remarkable new features set to be on the new release of iPhone 3.0 OS. But they left iPhone internet tethering from ATT in the dark. They mentioned the option to use your iPhone as a internet hub for your laptop or other computing device but said all networks do not support this feature. This feature on 3.0 features the ability to use a USB connection or bluetooth to connect your laptop to your iPhones 3G internet. Unfortunately AT&T will not be offering internet tethering from iPhone right off the bat. An AT&T Rep is said to have confirmed that Tethering is in the works for U.S. customers but that nothing could be announced at this time.
